The case is marked with the letter H. The makers name W.Swart & dated 1917.
 
Condition: inside they are remarkably clear for their age and they do focus, there are some odd specs when you invert them but these are not visible when you look through them. There is a visible nut in the centre cross piece which I guess should not be there? The black lacquer has a few light rubbing points & the leather does have some scratches and scuffs as expected with use / age. The case is in fairly good order but the straps & neck strap are dry and dusty and would benefit a feed.
